To request a copy from Gardner's Tax Service:
If you've lost or misplaced your tax return that was prepared in our office, we'd
be happy to issue you a new copy. The fee is $10 per tax return copy requested
and it covers the cost of secure storage of your tax return for up to 7 years. You
will receive a copy of both your federal and state returns.
To request a copy from the IRS:
You can also request a copy of your tax return transcript from the IRS. You have
two easy and convenient options for getting copies of your federal tax return
information--tax return transcripts and tax account transcripts--by phone or by
mail.
Request transcripts by calling 1-800-829-1040, or order by mail using IRS Form
4506T (Request for Transcript of Tax Return). They do not charge a fee for
transcripts. Allow two weeks for delivery.
